Sue is keeping us all on track with the essential back office. Real men know that we would never be successful without the ladies!
My involvement in the NZMVC started with my brother Wayne Hook as support person for him and his Willies Jeep after watching him re-store his Jeep over 15 years.
Most of my working life has been involved within the Motor Trade, having worked for several car dealers both in office work and parts departments. Having a dad as a panel beater I have been round vehicles all my life.
I am a Life Members of the Bay of Plenty Kart Club and was involved with the Kart racing for 23 years, nine years racing and many years as pit marshal and on the committee.
As well as being a member of the NZMVC, I am also on the committee of TMMI (Te Matai Motor Sport). TMMI is situated in the Motorsport part of the TECT All Terrain Park in Tauranga.
I joined the NZMVC about two years ago and was asked if I would be the branch secretary and also secretary for the Armistice 100 South Island tour. I really enjoy the camaraderie of the club and the events I have taken part in so far and look forward to the South Island trip in 2018.
